This is very important to prevent you and your family from various diseases and caused by mosquito bites.

Mosquito bites can cause reddish bumps on the skin and will feel very itchy. not only that, some mosquitoes can carry various viruses, germs or parasites that can cause various types of diseases such as mammals, dengue fever, and elephantiasis. this is the reason why we must take steps to prevent mosquito bites.

EFFECTIVE WAYS TO PREVENT MOSQUITO BITES

Here are some ways you can do to prevent mosquito bites:

1. Use mosquito repellent products.

There are many types of mosquito repellent products available on the market, such as mosquito coils or electric rackets. However, in using them, you must pay attention to safety aspects, especially if there are babies and children or asthma sufferers at home.

Mosquito coils and electric mosquito coils are indeed quite effective in repelling mosquitoes. However, the smoke and chemicals contained in it have the potential to cause health problems, such as respiratory problems and irritation.

Therefore, keep yourself and your family away when the mosquito repellent is on and avoid using mosquito repellent while sleeping.

Alternatively, you can use an electric racket to eradicate mosquitoes, both indoors and outdoors. This tool is safe to use because it is free of chemicals. However, don't forget to keep this tool out of reach of children so they don't get electrocuted.

2. Install a mosquito net or fan

You can install a mosquito net around the bed to ward off mosquito bites. In addition, you can also use a fan to prevent mosquitoes from sticking to and biting your skin.

3. Make sure there is no standing water.

Standing water is an ideal place for mosquitoes to lay eggs and breed. Therefore, make sure there is no stagnant water by covering containers or objects, such as buckets, used cans, and plastic waste.

For water reservoirs, such as water tanks and bathtubs, you can sprinkle larvicide so that mosquito larvae do not breed.

4. Clean the environment around the house

Not only inside the house, maintaining the cleanliness of the environment around the house is also important to prevent mosquito bites. Therefore, sweep the yard every day and cut the grass and plants regularly.

In addition, install mosquito nets on the doors and windows so that mosquitoes cannot enter the house.

5. Use mosquito repellent aromatherapy

To keep yourself away from mosquito bites, you can also use aromatherapy or mosquito repellent plants. Not only that, aromatherapy can also freshen and scent the room. Several types of essential oils, such as star anise, lemongrass, lavender, eucalyptus, lemon, and orange, are known to be effective in repelling mosquitoes without chemicals.

6. Apply mosquito repellent lotion or oil

To prevent mosquito bites, you can use mosquito repellent lotion. Choose a lotion with gentle ingredients, such as picaridin and lemon eucalyptus oil.

After applying mosquito repellent lotion, don't forget to wash your hands so that the lotion is not swallowed or causes irritation to the eyes. In addition, avoid using lotion on children under 3 years old, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers, and avoid using it on the face.

Not only mosquito repellent lotion, you can also use telon oil and eucalyptus oil. The content and aroma of both types of oil can keep you away from bites from these insects and other insects, such as gnats.

7. Clean your skin after being bitten by mosquitoes

Avoid scratching the skin that has been bitten by mosquitoes even though it itches. Scratching can cause wounds on the skin, allowing bacteria that cause infection to enter.

It would be better if you immediately clean the skin that has been bitten by mosquitoes with mild soap and warm water. After that, apply calamine lotion to reduce itching. If the itching is quite severe, you can apply an ointment containing hydrocortisone or take antihistamines.

Steps to prevent mosquito bites can also be done by fogging by local officers. This method is usually done when there is an increase in dengue fever cases in an area, such as schools, offices, or housing. However, you still have to be aware of the negative impacts of fogging that may occur.

In addition, you also need to maintain environmental cleanliness and eradicate mosquito nests, so that these insects do not breed around your home.

Do various ways to prevent mosquito bites as explained above, to avoid various diseases that can be spread by mosquitoes. If you have a fever accompanied by weakness, muscle pain, or headache, see a doctor immediately.

Those are the ways that I can convey, hopefully it can help.
